DIVINE INTERVENTIONS & BLESSES

I. DIVINE INTERVENTIONS & BLESSES OVERVIEW

Players can go to your team Deity's Altar and pray for Divine Interventions and Blesses. Each Intervention and Bless costs a certain amount of Piety Points (PP) and have a minimum level requirement. Requesting divine help requires you to know the proper prayer phrase. If you know the right phrase, open a menu with possible Blesses or Interventions to choose from. There are a total 4 Interventions and 20 Blesses. The 4 Interventions and 12 Blesses are listed on this page. The rest remain hidden for you to discover.

Note: The word "Inferior" is Order's derogatory term for non-Order people. The word "Non-Believers" is Chosen's derogatory term for non-Chosen people.

I. DIVINE INTERVENTIONS

Prayer Phrase: Order
(Any. All general prayers that do not invoke another menu, defaults to this.)

Prayer Phrase: Chosen
(Any. All general prayers that do not invoke another menu, defaults to this.)

Divine Intervention is somewhat similar to having useable items. These are special divine favors which you ask Mabus or Evod for in advance and use later. (Which you get at the Altar.)

Later, you can pray for Mabus or Evod to intervene your behalf. The default keys are 5, 6, 7, and 8 but can be rebinded in the Options menu. It is actually a prayer, you will lower your weapon and your hands enter a folded animation. You can have one of each Intervention. The Interventions which you have are visible on the right hand side of your screen. If you die, you will lose all Interventions.

Decoy
Hologram/Illusion. This creates a fake version of your third skill. It lasts you change classes or the round ends except for the Nuke/Angelfire which has the same 12.5 second fuse as a real bomb. You can only create one at a time. It is cheap because it fairly easy to detect. Players and attacks pass right through the Decoy. When the Decoy is damaged, it will fade out and fade back in.

Energize
Refills the Energy Bar. This is the same Mass Energize, except it is personal. Great for placing multiple Nuke or building quickly.

Invulnerability
Gives the same Invulnerability as when you spawned with the same action and distance limitations. It is used to sneak past defenses without drawing attention (the way the a nice explosion does). By turning invulernable, you can pass through Barriers/Wards, Barricades/Vortexes, and everything else. Drones/Kamies will also not detect invulnerable players and enemies cannot lock on. As with respawn Invulnerability, using a weapon or skill will greatly shorten your Invulnerability time.

Deliverer
The Deliverer launches a pulsating "artifact" that emits up to large amounts damage radially. As it moves outwards slowly. It is an explosive, so player can make saving throws against it and it does double damage on constructions. As an Divine Intervention it is single use only.

It is particularly good against enemy base defenses, especially, particularly Barriers/Wards, but it works on anything, including a corridor full of annoying Drones/Kamis. It can be used two different ways.

1. Send it directly to any construction. Most everything will die. If a construction has enough protection from a Guardian/Generator it might survive. The Deliverer "dies" when it impacts, so you don't want be kissing a construction when you use it. You want to be some distance away so the "pulsation" has a chance to soften up the construction and maybe hurt everything else around it.

2. Shoot a Barrier/Ward until it is disabled. Then use the Deliverer, aiming above the Barrier/Ward emitter. The pulsation has the ability to destroy the Barrier/Ward's emitter, it will continue forward until it impacts or runs of distance. You can effectively take out multiple defenses, but it takes much more planning and timing.

II. MASS BLESS

Prayer Phrase: Order
1. Divine master, I beseech you...
1. endow me with your infinite power...
1. for I humble myself before you.

Prayer Phrase: Chosen
1. Divine master, I beseech you...
1. endow me with your infinite power...
1. for I humble myself before you.

Mass Bless will bless all player characters on your team regardless of their location in the game. No XP is earned from Mass Blesses. This requires awesome teamwork to use efficiently.

Mass Heal
Heals the HP and AP. Good for assaults, one player can pray at the Altar while other players use their radio/telepathy to ask for healing when they take damage. Since it is fairly cheap, it can be done multiple times and help your team gain ground.

Mass Energize
Restores the Energy Bar to 100%. Makes building structures at your base fast. A pair of attacking Monk/Wastelanders can planting Angelfire/Nukes -- then immediately ask for Mass Energize. A player at the Altar, can pray for Mass Energize. Then... everything goes BOOM!

Mass Ammo
Resupplies all ammo. If your team lacks a character making ammo, then the cost of this isn't so bad. Equally good for camping or rushing teams.

Mass Repair
Fully repairs ALL aligned constructions except for the Portal. It can only repair the Portal to 8000 HP. This is one of the big reasons you must keep the enemies away from their Atlar. If an enemy team just rushes into your base and ignores your Altar, as they wittle down your Portal, you can pray for this. Suddenly you 2 HP Portal has 8000 HP again and your Barrier reactive. Fortunally it is expensive enough to be discouraging to use except as a last resort. (Or first resort, that's a strategy too.)

III. ARMOR BLESS

Prayer Phrase: Order
3. The Inferiors soil your good name...
2. as your loyal servant, assist me...
4. because this armor makes me itch.

Prayer Phrase: Chosen
3. The Non-believers soil your good name...
2. as your loyal servant, assist me...
4. because this armor makes me itch.

Bless Armor and Bless Weapons are the two sets of Personal Blesses. These are blesses for your character personally. With Bless Armor, the Deity imbues the character's armor with a bless. Players can choose all 4 and make their armor very powerful. The bless lasts until the character dies or until the rounds ends, which ever comes first.

Protection
Increases Armor Class +10. Remember this is AC not AP. Check the Armor Class/Penetration rules in the manual if you're unclear on this.

Cyra's Bless
Allows Armor Points to regenerate on a curve. The lower AP you have, the more it regenerates. As your AP gets closer to 100%, the rate of regeneration slows down. This is named after the character in G-Sector.

Enhancer
Regardless of the creator's skill level, all Implants and Runes will give 90 seconds of duration (+50% beyond the normal maximum duration of 60 seconds). The full 90 seconds given with simply 1 Rune or Implant, and will reduce the "rebuffing" frequency and save Energy. This Armor Bless is especially useful for characters with low Intelligence, who cannot make Implant/Runes with long durations, and players who are "buff addicts". The Enhancer has one more special trait. If you collect an Implant/Rune created by a friend, they will earn bonus XP calculated for 90 seconds of time (instead of basing it his normal skill rating).

Resilence
+15 Tenacity. This lasts the entire life of the character or until the round ends. With the Tenacity rules of damage recovery, Resilence essentially also gives you some HP regeneration, especially if you had high Tenacity to begin with.

IV. WEAPON BLESS

Prayer Phrase: Order
2. Oh Lord Evod...
3. make me stronger than the Inferiors...
3. and I will crush all the Inferiors.

Prayer Phrase: Chosen
2. Oh Lord Mabus...
3. make me stronger than the Non-Believers...
3. and I will crush all the Non-Believers.

Like Bless Armor, it lasts until the player dies or until the round ends. With Bless Weapon, the Deity imbues your weapons with a divine power. You can only have 1 at a time.

Enlighten
+30% base XP for combat. This includes destroying opposing constructions and purging enemy players. You don't earn a bonus for support or Team XP (unless you are the one that destroyed the construction). As "base XP" this calculated before the "cumulative kill" XP bonus. Enlighten greatly rewards aggressive play and staying alive.)

Yakuso's Bless
Yakuso's Bless regenerates ammo equal to 10% of your Strength every 15 seconds. This automatically reloads clips too.

Penetration
+10 Penetration. This has the nice effect of working on every weapon and skill. It is much easier to kill constructions and players. (Constructions have atleast 10 AC.) Note: this does affect attacking skills such as the Nuke.

Detect Evil
Radar/Oracle effect, constantly. Ever wish you could pick a Commando's RADAR or Assassin's Oracle and take it with you? Now you can... sort of. Your weapons can perfectly sense the evil around you. Evil is subjective in this case, but since it is a bless granted by Evod or Mabus, they consider the opposition as evil. You get that see-enemies-effect for your entire life or until the round ends.
